The quickstep sucks. To sell it, you have to kill yourself trying, and these two didn’t. Every chasse looked painful.
Courtney Galiano & Gev Manoukian
This routine was The Worst. For counts and counts at a time, they stood still and stared at each other, or lifted one arm in the air. It wasn’t their fault; it was the crap choreography.
Jessica King & William Winfield
This is my most audacious pick. The judges loved Jessica & Will, both dancers are hot, and the choreography was fun and accessible. But midway through this routine, I started screeching with anxiety. It looked like Will was going to drop Jessica on her head or her butt. Every lift and turn was scary.
